This is a fantastic reminder. Wake up, friends!! 😊.
Whenever my three year old sees me or her dad on our phones, she says “wake up!”. I don’t know where she got this but I think something in her understands that the phone is hypnotic and pulls us under. I always need the reminder.

This is a surface-level take — there are SO many other factors, everything from the ^^ in special needs/IEPs to the dumbing down of standards to the fact that teachers depend on unions to negotiate pay that is (per article) stagnant at BEST. But this is something to think about.
