@salltweets Like the sports issue, we were told it was ‘only one or two’ (it still mattered). Then it became dozens, then scores…etc. If people can’t see the direction this is heading - and why women like us are up in arms about it - they are being wilfully blind.

Euphemia Lofton Haynes (1890–1980) was a mathematician, and the first African American woman to earn her doctorate in mathematics. She dedicated her career to education and battling racial discrimination and received a Pro Ecclesia medal from Pope John XXIII in 1959. #WitChes
