In a targeted strike in Jabaliya, the family of Hassan Fayad (Abu Hamza), commander of the Beit Hanoun Brigade and probably commander of the North Gaza Battalion, were all eliminated. The fate of Hassan Fayad is still uncertain.

Faraj al-Ghoul, a member of the Hamas Palestinian Legislative Council in Gaza, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City early this morning. He was one of the few Hamas politicians still alive in Gaza.
