The Lebanese ploy all along -- I've been saying this for months. Lebanon will say anything (in contradistinction to actually doing what it's supposed to) to end Israel's presence and operations in Lebanon. At that point, there's considerably less pressure on Beirut to confront.

Amazing how @cenkuygur can pack a falsehood into every sentence. Every word of this is an inversion of historical fact, because without lying this ghoul would have no traction. Let’s accept the lie that “Muslims and Jews got along really well in the Middle East until 1948.”.
@alpacasw That's exact opposite of the truth. Muslims and Jews got along really well in the Middle East, especially compared to Europe, until 1948. That's when Israelis attacked their neighbors, took their land and started a mission to kill and evict millions of Arabs for Greater Israel.

Mind you, this is his response after posting this:.
@DavidADaoud “All of its citizens”. Sorry for being pedantic, but no, no one wants the death of the Israeli Arab citizens . So your argument crumbles from that part onwards.

"How can Palestinians allay the fear you folks have?". Oh, I don't know, renounce the destruction of Israel as a Jewish state? Cease support for terror orgs like Hamas, PIJ, etc.? Not rapturously celebrate massacres like October 7? Not commit those massacres? I could go on.
@DavidADaoud And that’s the perception you folks have. Now, tell me this if you consider yourself a serious analyst?. How can the Palestinians ever allay that fear of you folks that “they are all out here to kill all the jews in Israel”?. Well there’s one way; not to give them a state, or.

This is, of course, just words. Who precisely are these "actually-existing Zionists" who don't support or prioritize a Jewish state? Voices like Peter Beinart, who are so marginal as to put themselves outside of the pale of current, existing, normative Zionism? Who have, for all.
@DavidADaoud No, political ideas don’t take a “final form” ofc since history is continuous and there are actually-existing Zionists who don’t support “a Jewish state” (which could also mean many different things and it’s in fact a highly ambiguous phrase) or، as importantly, don’t prioritize.
