Hearing this male Snow Leopard's call echo around the Mongolian mountains was a real privilege and quite simply spectacular!

Our first day on our Cats, Primates and Birds tour to Bolivia started well with 3 Puma and 1 Jaguarundi!😮 The photo of the Puma won’t win any prizes but gives an idea of the habitat. #WiseBirding

Many thanks for the message @viv_keene and great to see in daylight! Great find👍🏻 I’m intrigued if this is the same bird I first saw/photographed on 19th May at dusk and then heard / sound recorded on the night of 15th June.🤔 Regardless, well done for finding it.😊.
I've had a brilliant morn. Sat on bank of River Otter from 4.30am. Beavers, Goosander, Kingfisher, Green Woodie etc then, as walking back to car 6.30am. I found a #BlackCrownedNightHeron!! Excited. 😍😃 @DevonWildlife @BirdGuides

This is absolutely epic, particularly the first minute! The stressful situation of not “getting onto” a seabird when seawatching!! Total respect to @RunnelStone for being so calm throughout! Plus a huge congratulations to John Foster for finding it!.
Here’s the video of the Porthgwarra, Cornwall Soft-plumaged Petrel on 13 July 2025. Originally found by John Foster at Coverack it was picked up at Porthgwarra by Steve Rogers and also seen there by myself, Pete Clement, Graham Lawlor and John Ryan.

I love searching for tough mammals at night, as you just never know what’s coming next! Despite no hoped for Flat-headed Cat, this beautiful Oriental Bay Owl was a real bonus as we slowly searched the Kinabatangan river at gone midnight. #Borneo

RT @DungenessBO: With the good birding continuing into today, why not come stay at Dungeness Bird Observatory this weekend? .

Otter Estuary NR quiet as expected for June, but an unseasonal female Pintail today. Also now 3 "head-started" Curlews. 2 from Dartmoor & a more recent 3rd bird from either Dorset, Sussex or Kent. Amazing how they find each other. Thanks to @KaneBrides for details. @ClintonDevon
