It’s too bad no one wants to watch college sports when the athletes are paid.😉

@WinterSportsLaw How do you think gambling has factored in?

@AlexAuerbachPhD It’s probably played some role, but it’s not like you couldn’t previously gamble on games. The important part is that consumer demand for college sports doesn’t go down if athletes are paid.

@WinterSportsLaw No, his narrative is to combat those that hinted NIL would reduce viewership. However, the fact that gambling is more accessible is the probable reason for increased audience.

@WinterSportsLaw It’s no longer college athletics at that point. It’s semi pro ball. You ca t take away what makes college athletics and still call it such

@WinterSportsLaw Also, this tourney has been crap so far. Way too many blowouts and no mid major Cinderella. Could have to do with the legal system letting schools with the most money steal other schools best players? Hopefully, not the case

@WinterSportsLaw Not sure how many folks watched the NCAA Wrestling Championships Finals Sat nite, but T-Mobile Center was packed. The oldest sport in the world going back to when Jacob wrestled the Angel.
