It’s August 30. Classes have been skipped. Burgers on the grill, beers in hand. Beer die and Cornhole games take over parking lots and front lawns. 7 PM approaches as you wait in line to stripe Spartan Stadium and watch the beginning of the Jonathan Smith era. Life is beautiful.

This just sounds like it’s coming from someone who didn’t care until the controversy, Mel had massive support. Yes he was scrutinized but so is every single college football coach ever. East Lansing was fully behind Mel Tucker until Saturday night
