Absolutely devastating news to wake up to this morning. Kyle Anderson, a World Series winner, and a man who gave us so many wonderful moments on the oche, has passed away at the age of 33. All of our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time. ❤️

Nathan Aspinall: I'm working with Luke (Littler). I'm trying to help him out (with certain mental situations in games). The rest of the lads probably don't want me to do that, because if he has my head with his ability we might as well all pack up!
RIP Andy Fordham. Known as 'The Viking', Andy won the 2004 BDO World Championship and was one of the sport's most popular players. He played in 12 consecutive Lakesides from 1995 to 2006 and made a memorable comeback at the 2015 Grand Slam. Our thoughts are with his family.

"Bristow did a percentage shot."
"Deller did the business."
An iconic moment in the history of this sport as

checks out a 138 in the final against Eric Bristow to win the BDO World Championship as a qualifier on his debut in 1983.

Luke Littler, 16, turns down the WDF to play at the PDC World Championship and is into the final.
These teenagers are clever, aren't they? 😁

At 51 years of age. Just wow.
BREAKING: Peter Wright will replace Gerwyn Price as the new world number one when the PDC Order of Merit is updated on Monday. It will be the first time a player from Scotland has been at the top of the PDC Order of Merit.
I'm sorry, but this is getting silly now from Sky. As one of our sport's biggest broadcasters, they need to do better. Darts will always be bigger than one player no matter what the gender.
Fallon Sherrock deserves to be in this year's Premier League Darts due to the fact she's one of the biggest commercial draws in the sport, says Laura Turner 🎯
Gerwyn Price's last act of his World Championship title defence was to point his thumb to someone in the crowd who had put him off on his throw.
The bloke threw a nine darter in the same game! Such a shame to see the crowd impact what was a tremendous game of darts.

Nathan Aspinall: I sacrifice so much. I travel all over the world to try and provide for my family and my family were there tonight. For my kids to hear 12,000 people chanting their daddy's name, I felt that on the stage. It was a special occasion tonight.
Luke Littler just threw a nine darter in the FIRST LEG of a match.
Is there anything this lad can't do on a dartboard?
Half expect him to be the first player to check out 159 at this rate.

Beau Greaves was one missed match dart away from topping a group that included Nathan Aspinall, Damon Heta and Ricardo Pietreczko.
On her Grand Slam debut and at just 19 years of age.
Incredible talent. She will be back.
Recency bias might give the Humphries/Littler final the nod in our Match of the Year but Humphries/Cullen in R4 had everything.
* Two missed match darts by Cullen
* The tops tops to save the match for Humphries
* All those missed doubles in the penultimate leg
* Sudden death leg
🗣️ “Obviously with Sky in the limelight now it never gets mentioned on Sky that I done it. But most true darts fans know who done the first live nine darter. All the top dart players know who done it.”
February 3, 2002 - A moment that will never be forgotten.
RIP, 9 Dart. ❤️
"Scotland get battered everywhere they go..."
* Peter Wright and Gary Anderson are both into the semi-finals
* Alan Soutar reached the last 16 on his debut
* William Borland hit a nine darter in a last leg decider to win his first round match

Andrew Gilding politely declined our invitation to send in an acceptance speech, but let's remind ourselves of that magical moment in Minehead last year...
Andrew Gilding. A major darts champion and the Weekly Dartscast Guest and Upset of the Year. 🏆🏆
Hard to believe now after winning through to his first PDC World Championship semi-final and banking £100k, but rumour has it Stephen Bunting turned down a recording contract from Simon Cowell, who offered him one after watching this performance in Holland five years ago... 😁🎤
