Although there is a one-month pause on the Pro Tour, all sorts of other tours are going on around the globe in the meantime. As well as the events shown in the graphic below there will be European Tour Qualifiers, ADA Tour, China Pro Tour and Next Gen tournaments in August.

On the one hand a whole host of familiar names have won tournaments in July and on the other hand there have been three debutant winners in the last three Players Championship events with Bradley Brooks, Sebastian Białecki and Jermaine Wattimena.

Considering almost everyone in top-16 of the world skipped this tournament, Sebastian Białecki couldn't have chosen a much more difficult route to his first title. At least from the last 32 onwards.

Niels Zonneveld is the 20th player from the Netherlands to reach a Pro Tour final. Compared to other countries, the Dutch are comfortably in second place behind England (81) and ahead of Wales (7).

Sebastian Białecki wins Players Championship #22 and becomes the third Polish player to win a PDC event after Krzysztof Ratajski (11 titles) and Radek Szagański (1 title). Overall he is the 105th player to win a tournament on the Pro Tour.

Dirty Harrysson must be the first Swede to average 110+ in a PDC tournament.

The new 180-record set by Luke Littler at the 2025 World Matchplay looks even more imposing when compared to the other players, who scored 180s much less frequently and at a much lower rate than the eventual champion.

The World Matchplay marks the midpoint of the ranking major season. All of the first four events have been won by either Luke Littler or Luke Humphries. The remaining four tournaments will be played within just seven weeks in October and November.

All but one of Luke Littler's match averages were among the top-10 in the tournament. His lowest (99.28) is ranked 22nd out of 62 in total. The fact that half of the list came from the quarterfinals, semifinals and final speaks to the quality of darts played in the latter stages.
