I am in the process of migrating this feed to Mastodon. Watch this space for confirmation when that has happened.

I’m co-facilitating an #OPTYCs @WebVPython workshop at #AAPTWM23. If you have an advanced or complex #WebVPython program you wouldn’t mind us using as an exemplar for study would you share a link with me via email? #ITeachPhysics

Helpful tip: Use print_options(digits=n) to print numerical values with n digits by default. Not currently available in VPython 7.

Saw the "four bug" problem today, decided for fun to do a 3-d version with bugs at the corners of a tetrahedron, using @webvpython. https://t.co/mSkTgsPz7x

@MBurnsKaurin @fpoodry @WebVPython @emmaphys @SecaurPhysics @rjallain @mrmalvikscience @AMTAteachers @ScienceDave Here is a simple harmonic motion example using glowscript and a Go Direct Motion Detector. This example will probably help more than a 280 character tweet! (note this example uses USB connection) https://t.co/qsD9ou7Hb2

From Sherwood: When you click "Share or export this program" you now should see a link to download an HTML file containing your transpiled JavaScript program, which can be loaded into a browser and the program should run.

NEW: When creating a new program, you should now see "Web VPython 3.2" as the header. The underlying library will still be called the "GlowScript library" and the old GlowScript headers will continue to work.
