One thing that people are glossing over is what @ayoBee_ mentioned — Cam Johnson has actually played less games than MPJ the past few years. In the last three seasons, MPJ has played 220 games combined compared to Cam Johnson’s 157 games. Interesting 🤔.

#2 on here is the reason why I laugh at the national media who try to make fun of the Nets for keeping all five 1st Round picks. We had none just a year ago and the least amount of young talent in the NBA. Now we don’t. On a team that needs to be bad to get a top 2026 pick.

The Cam Whitmore delusion has to stop. I think he could be a solid role player in the future — maybe a starter, probably not. But he gets talked about on here like he’s the next Anthony Edwards or something. 27 other NBA teams could’ve gotten him too and didn’t.
Cam Whitmore would be our best player and is a future all star in this league I don't see why you wouldnt be upset not trading for him.

I wouldn’t want Kuminga just as a free agent. Definitely would not want him if it requires giving up additional valuable assets for him on top of that. Would rather those minutes go to Noah Clowney.

This is a fancy way of saying that you’re tanking, but have to word it this way so you don’t get fined/penalized. The Nets will have 5 rookies on the roster next year and just traded away their best player for a lesser, injury-prone version. The full-scale tank is on and poppin!.
