It’ll be interesting to see which EV charging partner(s) they opt for at this location. Could @ionnaofficial be a consideration? Their HQ in Durham would just be a 40 minute drive down the road.

Stopped by Kenly, NC @TeslaCharging site on Saturday for some daytime shots. After yesterday’s announcement noticed the site had been added to @googlemaps so added pics and the first review with a nav tip for EVs that’re towing.

Also, stalls 2C & 2D are trailer friendly. If you’re not towing and other stalls are available DO NOT use’em. If you are towing and use stall 2C with its westward directional arrow, depending on the length of what you’re towing you may want to drive behind Kenly 95 when exiting.

In the 2nd pic, note the Kenly 95 signage, yards from southbound I-95 exit 106.  If towing a trailer, once you’re on Johnston Parkway, drive around and the turn in for the parking lot will be just past that sign. You’ll avoid having to drive around most of the cars in the lot.

88th @TeslaCharging site in NC, the 16 V4 Superchargers (with V3.5 @teslaenergy cabinets) at Kenly 95 (exit 106) are now live. Shows up in @Tesla app, but not car nav. The LED lights under the solar canopy near the sidewalk aren’t lit but other canopy’s are. Will report via app.

Kudos to the @GADeptofTrans for adapting their highway signage so that it’s more informational for EV drivers, and also increasing public awareness that there are EV charging options available while traveling.

When the category winner was announced they said black 2012. A team of judges reviewed the car, but the one jotting notes on the clipboard stayed on the shaded side of the car. One judge even said the color changed when he walked around the car and saw the sunlight hit the paint.

Yesterday the Model S was awarded the “Best Other 1995 & Newer” Trophy. Two years ago I stopped at the Fayetteville, NC Cracker Barrel beside the twelve V2 Superchargers to snag a better pic. This year stopped at the Wawa Travel Center near Hope Mills.

Ok.. @TeslaCharging I’m not sure who did what, but there are definitely more than 3 stalls available at the moment. When I arrived in dash nav was showing at least 18 stalls available. Not sure what caused the sudden phantom drop Wasn’t a site wide power blip, my ⚡️didn’t hiccup.

Haven’t seen the stall numbers placed that high on the @Tesla Supercharger posts before.

The @Tesla store should add a stadium cushion to its offerings, for owners who opt to sit out their @TeslaCharging session sitting inside at locations like @sheetz. Granted with a first year Model S my charges are longer than most.

It’s scary how I can spot EVs. This @Rivian is in the video for maybe 2 seconds. The BBQ Lab is a few minutes walk from the 24 @TeslaCharging posts at North Hills in Raleigh, NC. Given how busy the Superchargers are with @Tesla models it is not a NACS site, so other EVs can’t ⚡️.

“Electric JoCo” took home 2nd place at @TheBreadnBottle’s Tuesday Trivia Night. Tonight I left their Tesla Universal Wall Connector open when I parked, but no other EVs there. Was surprised where I passed a GMC Hummer EV on the way back.
