Over the weekend one of our union members and 22 others were wrongfully arrested for peacefully protesting an anti trans hate group in Cal Anderson Park in Seattle. Our union strongly condemns the police brutality and arrests. Please donate and share the legal defense fund.

If you're the Starbucks CEO you get $96 million for 4 months of work including a $5 million bonus. If you're a Starbucks union worker, the CEO is refusing to give you a decent raise to pay rent & buy groceries. Starbucks must end its greed & negotiate a fair union contract.

Dave Olsen founded Cafe Allegro in 1975. He owned and managed Café Allegro for eleven years as his only coffeeshop. In 1987, Starbucks ownership changed, and Olsen became more involved in their activities. Olsen became the head buyer and roaster of Starbucks.

Cafe Allegro baristas are so real for this! @seattleallegro's OG location brought coffee to striking @SBWorkersUnited workers demanding a fair contract now! Allegro was integral in creating Starbucks coffee line, notably the Espresso Roast that Starbucks still uses to this day.
