No Wordle, Connections, Strands, The Mini, etc on @NYTGames today, and don’t use the cooking app. Don’t cross the picket line! Solidarity with @NYTGuildTech!.
We are on ULP strike. We gave @nytimes management months of notice of our strike deadline, we made ourselves available around the clock, but the company has decided that our members aren’t worth enough to agree to a fair contract and stop committing unfair labor practices.

Vote #Yeson2 to remove high stakes MCAS testing as a graduation requirement for high school seniors. #mapoli.
“I’m proud that our schools maintain the country’s highest standards, but every student is unique so using the one-size-fits-all MCAS test as a make-or-break graduation requirement makes no sense.” — Everett social studies teacher Maureen Morelli in new #Yeson2 ad

Make no mistake: Massachusetts will continue to have some of the highest education standards in the country, with or without the MCAS graduation requirement. Those standards are embedded in state

Taxing the rich to invest in the public is great! More states should do it! Look at where the funds from the Fair Share Amendment are going:.
"Free lunches for Bay State public school students, free community college, expanded financial aid, and more money for the MBTA. Those are just some of the programs and initiatives that will benefit from" Fair Share spending in the state's new budget.

Workers who drive for Uber and organized labor, and AG Andrea Campbell sued Uber and Lyft to achieve these new wages, not some corporate act of goodwill.
More than disingenuous, @Uber’s ad about wages & benefits is upright misleading. Workers & @massaflcio had to sue Uber to get $32/hr (idle time not included), & the ad makes it seem like they just gave $ & benefits to them. Uber’s truly gaslighting Massachusetts residents.

The labor movement is heeding @UAW's call and beginning to put in motion the necessary steps to align union contracts for a common expiration of May 1, 2028. This step by @AFTunion is a major development!.
@AFTunion just overwhelmingly passed @CTULocal1 and @BTUBaltimore resolution to align union contracts across the US with @UAW for a common expiration of May 1, 2028 to win more for working people in bargaining, at the statehouse & all the way up to the White House. #RealSolutions
