Started our morning with some in-service training, focusing on expiratory muscle strength training in dysphagia rehab. We discussed how to measure outcomes and how instrumental assessment will help us with this, particularly our FEES service 🤩

As a team we will need to consider how we can support staff to achieve sustainable change to deliver the most time and cost effective training packages.

There was a lack of medium to long term follow up sessions after training in all studies. Some studies had concerns about the sustainability of the changes achieved.
