Disabled find no placed in @AamAadmiParty manifesto. Only a passing reference at one place. For the AAP disabled do not fit into their full statehood scheme. Same with transgenders. The manifesto for the assembly elections were better. @AdvRajendraPal

Avoiding the term 'disability' reinforces the idea that disability is an undesired state..Terms like 'differently abled, special needs or #divyang are euphemisms that deny recognition of disability as a valued aspect of diversity and identity #SayTheWord https://t.co/pDSVwTOHEu

We talk about social discrimination, but today similar cases are on a rampant in the rural areas. the cases are not reported or spoken about openly and women still have to experience torture and trauma for frivolous reasons. Its time that women learn to protect themselves .

Acid thrown on a woman in rural Bengal by her husband because she voted for the party her brother works for and not one husband is associated with. We are told, this is a "personal" quarrel and there's nothing political in it.

It is not easy to have 100% trust on those who carry you... always good to have control at least over your body for anybody, if not on other things... So, the planners, decision makers and authorities.. please make accessibility, the PRIORITY!

A non disabled person uses a car to go from one place to another and its exactly the same if we look at it if we really want to , keeping aside the cliched mentality , that a person with disability uses a wheelchair to move from one place to another. the PERSON comes FIRST
