Rich Rod has a great plan for the future! This off season he wants to "attack" the portal with "8-10 impact players", and build a strong highschool foundation. This is a great step forward and will really push quality over quantity in the portal!

With all of these head coaches being fired there is going to be a huge amount of players in the portal. This is the perfect situation for the WVU coaching staff to get some great players for next year!

Those who think this is a bad thing don't know what they're talking about. You get to the point where you are getting a few studs out of the portal, and have a sturdy foundation with retained highschool recruits. You can't just get 50 mediocre guys every year. Quality vs Quantity

It feels like a great time to be a team with a head coach. It seems like almost every day now one is getting fired and I can see a couple more going in the near future. Imagine if we would've fired Neal Brown this season?

I just want to put it out there... It's not a Rich Rod issue. It's a money issue. And Wren Baker is working harder than anyone on the planet to fix that.

The bye week gives Rich Rod time to flesh out a game plan for UCF. My biggest Questions- Who will be QB1? Will O-Line play improve? Can the defense get back on track? Can we get Cam Vaughn the ball?

The future of WVU athletics looks bright under the leadership of Wren Baker. He's making huge steps in the right direction financially. With him at the helm, West Virginia is in great position to flourish as a National brand.

WVU Hoops Player Spotlight: Honor Huff Honor is a 4⭐️ Transfer from Chattanooga where he averaged 15.2 PPG last season. He lead the nation in 3 point makes last year with 131 shooting it at 41.6%! Look for Honor to make a huge splash this year with the Mountaineers!
