Stripe Rust Update: Dr. Chen reports that stripe rust continues to spread in winter wheat nurseries near Pullman, but that incidence in commercial fields is very low. Three fields in Franklin County had less than 1% rust. Be watchful and continue scouting.

Stripe rust update: stripe rust is widespread in eastern Washington and its appearance is the earliest since 2011, raising concerns for the current wheat crop. See my recommendations in a new Timely Topic posted today #WSUsmallgrains.
