On a brief visit to my old home town of NYC, what I notice most is that the much ballyhooed ‘congestion charge’ has done essentially zero to alleviate Manhattan traffic.

As chaotic, energetic and sometimes dysfunctional as the administration that produced it, the 2025 National Security Strategy voices the passionate convictions of the administration’s leading foreign policy thinkers, writes @wrmead https://t.co/L3W0DJ0K7e

Though the actual influence of these documents was weaker than often supposed. They tend to reflect the balance of power within an admin’s NSS structure at a point in time rather than laying down the law for subsequent policy battles.

Yet it gives a broad hint about the thinking in the administration and about arguments Trump may hear from his team; but the status of this NSS is very different from past strategies in which presidents have been involved, at times when foreign policy was far more a team effort.

Is it true that there is "no neutrality" in the cosmos?Several thoughts on the "Christ vs. Chaos" mindset: 1. Yes, Christ is Lord. Amen! 2. Yes, all people are called to submit to Christ's Lordship. 3. At the level of the human person, we really are in either Christ or chaos,
