BREAKING: Cleveland will be the newest city to have a WNBA franchise, per @TomFriendWriter. The team is expected to join the league in 2028 and will reprise the name Cleveland Rockers, the original team name of the franchise when it folded in 2003.

At this point I can’t even be mad at other cities or the WNBA. This is emblematic of a lack of citywide leadership and initiative (however I will still be mad at other cities and the WNBA).
