This International Women’s Day WM AMP organised its first women-only iftar where colleagues, joined by family, have come together to celebrate the strength and resilience of women in a welcoming atmosphere, embracing both our faith and the spirit of togetherness.

Sgt Ahmed visited Masjid Usman today with some of the team. A great engagement opportunity with the youth groups who were happy to get an insight into policing and ask any questions they may have had!

Thanks to Tipton NHT’s PC KHAN and PCSO MOORE who joined the community at Kanzul Iman Central Jamia Mosque for the Annual Children’s Mawlid Event as well as to Cllr Rizwan Jalil from Sandwell MBC and the organisers Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi at Blossoming Flowers for inviting us.

This is an excellent appointment for a new chair. Jas is a competent leader and has all the qualities to continue steering @wmp_sikh in the right direction.

A hugely successful event articulating policing in its realist form. A huge thanks to all volunteers who did this in addition to operational roles. We thank everyone who attended and look to see you next year 🫡

The biggest turnout on police grounds and a perfect opportunity to further strengthen our relations in important times. All proceeds will go to charity where a whopping £6276.33 was raised and will be given to projects that treat poorly children both locally and afar

A big display from many of our departments which included dogs and interactive policing stalls. This included Firearms, Traffic, Drones, Forensics and other emergency services.

The day included cricket & basketball tournaments. Stalls of henna, sweets, samosas & pakoras, inflatable bouncy castles, penalty shootout, a BBQ and ice cream stations and much more.
