Leaving school & understanding your career path can be a daunting experience. We were delighted to attend Broxburn Academy this morning to discuss the opportunities associated with entering the engineering industry in particular, our Apprenticeship programme.

As we mark the 1st year anniversary of @scottish_water's #NetZero Emissions Routemap, it’s been fantastic to see the hard work done so far to lower our emissions.💚👏 We still have some way to go, but we’re pulling out the stops to help achieve net zero by 2040 & beyond.⬇️
Our #NetZero Emissions Routemap was published 1 year ago during #ScotClimateWeek 2020. We've been reducing emissions since 2006 - so far the equivalent of 213,000 tonnes of carbon have been removed from our activities. Our aim is to be net zero by 2040: https://t.co/eLW1j7iAhD

Our upgrade works at a pumping station on Millholm Road, near Cathcart, are now complete. The overall aim of this project was to convert an existing dry well into a wet well, replacing the existing pumps. Check out the before & after pictures below👇🏼
