The Islamic Republic continues to systematically violate the right to life by executing its own citizens for non-violent offences such as transporting drugs. So far this year, over 575 alleged drug offenders have been executed, often after deeply flawed trials. ⬇️

More than 1,000 people have been executed in Iran so far this year - the highest since 1989. UN member states must urgently speak up and demand that the Iranian authorities immediately halt all executions.
