UPDATE: The two officers have been immediately suspended by Buffalo Police Commissioner Byron Lockwood. A full Internal Affairs investigation is underway.
According to multiple reports, all 57 members of the Buffalo Police Department's Emergency Response Team have resigned from the team as a show of support for the two officers who were suspended last night.

The two officers filmed pushing 75-year-old Martin Gugino were arraigned this morning and have been charged with assault in the second degree. They pleaded not guilty. DA John Flynn is speaking to reporters now.

The attorney representing Martin Gugino says Gugino is still hospitalized and his condition remains largely unchanged. He is in serious but stable condition. "Martin has acknowledged and sincerely appreciates the tremendous outpouring of support he has received nationwide."
Cuomo says he was "sick to my stomach" when he first saw the video from Buffalo last night. He says Mayor Brown acted "quickly and appropriately" in suspending the officers, the city should pursue firing them, and the DA should look at potential criminal charges.
