Heads up @Sainsburys_Bank devs -- your password validation RegEx has two $s and no #s. ^(?=.*[a-z])(?=.*[A-Z])(?=.*\d)(?=.*[$@$!%*?&])[A-Za-z\d$@$!%*?&]{8,16}. Error message claims to allow these:.!,£,$,#,&,*,%. It also silently allows @ and ?.

ES Idea: String.prototype.parse(parseFn). Just a small usability thing. Lots of Web APIs in particular are stringy and need to be parsed, but things like ?. and ?? don't work well in these positions. alt:
