After the performance, our actors Olivia Night, May Lopez, Harry Freeman & Christian Peterson engaged with the students in a Q and A session . Voices were delighted to perform at the @UniKent as part of their BIAHS conference, where @Voices_Cate will speak on 4th July.

PRIDE MONTH. As the daughter of a gay man oppressed by fear because of racist, sexist, homophobic parents all I can say is that we MUST stand up together. Transphobia MUST be rooted out and we MUST support our LGBTQ+ community. Now more than ever xxx
THIS DAY in 1954, Alan Turing took his own life. Helped to win WWII. Saved 100s of 1000s of lives. Created the first Electronic Computer. A True Genius of his time. Driven to desperate measures by a Society that didn't understand a different sexuality.

Voices were honoured to be at St Columba's College, St Albans, this week, teaching Year 9 alongside @HolocaustUK. This was followed by our play Kindness: A Legacy of the Holocaust (by Cate Hollis and Mark Wheeller), based on the testimony of Auschwitz survivor Susan Pollack OBE.
