A study by Dr. Grant in 2010 estimated that the death rate would fall by 37,000 deaths and the economic burden by $14.4B if all Canadians achieved a 25(OH)D level of 105 nmol/L or 42 ng/ml. November is Vitamin D Awareness Month.
