FORMER world marathon record holder, Steve Jones MBE, born in #Tredegar on 4th August 1955 & raised in Ebbw Vale. Set the record of 2:08:05 winning the Chicago marathon in 1984 & best time of 2:07:13 in 1985. Also won the London & New York marathons. Lives in Boulder, Colorado.

We are going to miss you Ray
As much for his achievements as a player, Ray Reardon will be remembered for being a wonderfully engaging storyteller and communicator, a good example here when he was interviewed by Michael Parkinson in January 1979. He will be missed.
