Over the past 15 years, I had the joy of working with Dikembe Mutombo, who served as a Trustee of the National Constitution Center. The world knew Dikembe as a HOF basketball star and NBA Global Ambassador. We knew him as someone who also embraced his role as...citizen.

When he made it to the Basketball Hall of Fame, Dikembe Mutombo said he wanted only to be remembered as “one of the best defensive players” to ever play. Mutombo, who died yesterday of brain cancer at 58, accomplished that and more, @RosenJeffrey writes.
