People would be well served to read the entire report before overreacting. A lot of voters simply don’t know anything about either candidate yet, so they’re noncommittal. But the report explains that undecided voters are R+17. If Republican undecideds break for Donalds,

The logical next step is to consider who the undecided voters are. This is another headwind for Jolly: undecided voters lean Republican by 17%.

The idea that Jolly will win over moderate Republicans is shaky at best. Donalds earns an average rating of 3.9 out of 5 among Moderate Republicans. That’s better than DeSantis (3.2), Trump (3.1), and certainly Jolly (2.5). Not to mention MAGA Republicans are far more numerous.
