Absolutely - I hugely value this but also really try and do this for those in my teams. They are far more expert than me in their fields but I think I am there to back them, support them and remind them how brilliant they are!

Today I’ve been addressing our new face to face long service invites to incredible colleagues with over 25 years SFH service…the invites total 2150 years of service to @SFHFT including 4 x 45 year awards - how incredible and humbling is that?! @PaulRobinsonNHS 💙

His club & team mates have been. Friendships have never been easy - as I said above largely due to his needs not due to others deliberately excluding him. So sorry to anyone who has been concerned or who I’ve upset 💙 we’re very lucky to have a great tribe around us thank you!

Wow this blew up like I never expected-thank you! Just wanted to clarify - the lack of play dates have been as much about his needs/nuances as anything else, sadly that’s life with Autism sometimes. My tweet was really to thank/celebrate his team & club for their inclusivity 🥰
