Yesterday I visited the @wisegroup_se in Airdrie and heard from Sean Donnelly, Maria Ruponen and Hilary Baxter how they help to lift families out of poverty through mentoring. They have an impressive record.

Humanising our Parliament and wider Institutions is such an important part of the job @PFOKane ! When I was in P7 we lined up outside Number 10 (road was open then) to have a look - to our shock the PM invited us into the Cabinet Room. Never to be forgotten.
It's always a pleasure to see our Scottish Parliament through the eyes of guests. Thank you to the pupils of @crossarthurlie for coming to Parliament a few weeks ago and for displaying exemplary behaviour and asking great questions!

I was pleased to visit to the @wisegroup_se exhibition in Parliament last week. The Wise Group's approach tackles the root causes of poverty - not just the symptoms. A lot can be learned from their Relational Mentoring model as we look to build an economy that works for everyone.
