Outstanding behavior from the backbench! 38 Labour MPs are against policy plans to curtail trial by jury. There is no evidence to suggest jury trials have caused delay or the backlog. Currently, 10-20% of Crown Court rooms sit idle. Why are they not filled with rape trials?
