Good to see @Citi and CEO Jane Fraser release their 2021 @FSB_TCFD Report & #netzero plan. We need these targets to be aligned with climate science and #NZBA guidelines to reach net zero. Citi’s Transition Principles offer welcome visibility on their approach.
To reach #netzero by 2050, we are actively engaging with all our clients to support them in their low-carbon transitions and journey to net zero together. Learn more about #Citi's approach to driving a responsible transition to net zero: https://t.co/NLLInjZLLu

Our #netzero targets are ambitious & climate science aligned: An absolute emissions reduction target of 29% for our Energy portfolio, and an intensity reduction target of 63% for our Power portfolio (representing the climate imperative to electrify everything while decarbonizing)
Last March, #Citi announced our commitment to reach #netzero emissions by 2050. Today, we're releasing our initial plan for achieving this goal. Read more from our CEO Jane Fraser on how we’re working with our clients to transition to net zero together: https://t.co/Ha4HqEOKPa

Really appreciate @KHayhoe comments on talking about climate across the divide, whether it’s political, ideological, theological. And also the comments about individual actions and how they can also add up: “Add your hand to that giant boulder.”

Katharine Hayhoe doesn’t see the love in many of her fellow Christians. She still has hope we can all do better.

We're excited to announce our new partnership with @Breakthrough Energy Catalyst! As an anchor partner, we're committing $100MM over the next 5 years, with an initial equity investment of $50MM through an expansion of the #Citi Impact Fund. #COP26

In 2018 we formed the Climate Solutions Working Group, comprised of Chamber members working on climate policy. V. proud of our 1st public statement, encouraging the Congress (and the Chamber) to take action on comprehensive climate legislation

If we needed more proof that the incredible pace of change of climate sentiment needs to be matched by action, the new NZE scenario is it.
The @IEA just released the world’s first comprehensive roadmap for the global energy sector to reach net-zero emissions by 2050. Our special report shows the pathway to net zero by 2050 is narrow but still achievable if governments act now. The report ➡️ https://t.co/nnpk3Ik1fH

You don't have to be a physicist (I dropped the major after three days) to understand why Congress should take science seriously.

Recent research seems to challenge the fundamentals of the field. The U.S. should support the quest for answers.

Great graphics and article about how land use — and how much land is required to scale different climate solutions. Really underscores our need to approach climate from a systems perspective.

I couldn’t agree more. The E and the S in ESG are inextricably linked, and we cannot succeed in advancing one without the other.
There is no climate justice without racial justice. For either the climate action or racial justice movement to fully succeed, they must be treated as inextricably linked. Read more in my new @TIME op-ed with @DavidLammy: https://t.co/yMjlvKkRh2
