The BUF's ideology was distinctly British, being a synthesis of Joseph Chamberlain's foreign policy vision with the best non-Marxist elements of British socialism. Ironically, it was Mosley's postwar phase, after he had declared Fascism dead, that was more Continentally inspired.
Mosley and the BUF were distinct from their contemporaries because despite any ideological similarities with the Germans they still promoted "Britain First" "Our country is involved in war. Therefore I ask you to do nothing to injure our country, or to help any other Power."

The socialist policies in question were very close to what Oswald Mosley had advocated for most of his career, in fact. Tory libertarian Thatcherite/Friedmanite types admittedly can't be expected to know this.

Some valid points. MEIN KAMPF is basically an anti-occupation text, positioning Germany as an oppressed nation vis-à-vis the Versailles beneficiaries. However, the main theoretical precursors of NS and Fascism - Dühring, Sombart, Sorel, Valois - significantly predated Bolshevism.

@Harry_pitt China lies routinely about their exams & IQ. Most of their projects are reliant on Western expertise, or are hilarious white elephant vanity projects complete with garbage stuffed concrete. No one is thriving. China is also a giant lie, along with The West.

@AltCulture Traditionalism, with its basis in the Neoplatonic ideal of a single metaphysical truth underlying all reality, is inherently hostile to critical thinking. It literally says one's role in life is to serve a transcendent authority whose legitimacy cannot be questioned.
