Tavoitteena oli selvittää, mitkä toimijat osallistuvat metsäkeskusteluun ja millaisia diskursseja keskustelusta löytyy. Aineisto koostui liki 300:sta uutisartikkelista, jotka on julkaistu Helsingin Sanomissa tai Maaseudun Tulevaisuudessa.

Metsäkeskustelu käy taas vilkkaana. Sopivasti eilen julkaistiin uusi tutkimusartikkeli, jossa Annukka Näyhä ja minä tarkastelemme suomalaista perinteisissä uutismedioissa käytyä metsäkeskustelua vuosina 2019-2021.
