The utilities sector has received the fourth highest total penalties with £994m worth of fines issued since 2010. Nonetheless it appears these fines are not enough to change behaviour

A huge citizen testing of rivers in UK found 75% in poor ecological health from #pollution from water companies & agricultural runoff. Since Brexit, Environment Agency (EA) reduced testing of rivers from annually to every 3y, leading to gaps in monitoring.
