Today MPs will vote on the Universal Credit and #PIP Bill. While we welcome gov’t listening to issues raised, we remain concerned that plans are being rushed through without proper engagement, create a two-tier system and will drive families into poverty.

‼️ Nearly 8 in 10 low-income, working-age families in receipt of disability benefits went without essentials in May 2025. Today, we're in Parliament with @TrussellUK calling on MPs to Guarantee our Essentials. A future where everyone can afford the essentials is possible. 📢
