Thanks to Kaukab Stewart, Minister for Equalities, for joining our parent carers group yesterday during Carers Week! . We’re pleased to be raising awareness of carers' issues and encourage carers to get in touch to find out what support they may be entitled to.
Equalities Minister @kaukabstewart visited Midlothian Carer Centre during #CarersWeek. She met with parent carers of adults with additional support needs and heard about the importance of peer support at @vocalmidlothian and the financial support from Social Security Scotland.
