Dr. Fahima Osman arrived in Canada as an 11-year-old refugee, and grew up the eldest of 9 kids. Today, she is a surgical oncologist and the first Somali refugee to become a doctor in Canada. This great @globeandmail piece about Dr. Osman is a must-read.
