it wouldn't trouble her too much to leave things unsaid. she had grown up a guarded person, and that was something which remained unchanged. ( the solution to that still rested a little further in her future yet. ) let's get on .แ
and while he felt guilty, he didn't say very much about it. instead allowing actions to speak louder. especially given how this face was so very internally conflicted. emotionally volatile, and whatnot. but she wouldn't be seeing that aspect very much.
