Lord Prescott was a wonderful ambassador for our University, city and region. He will be sadly missed.
We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Lord John Prescott. Lord Prescott was a great friend to our University and one of our alumni, having studied Economic History here, graduating in 1968. He will be sorely missed.

Great news that the SUPERSLUG initiative to assess the long-term impacts of extreme events like landslides has received @NERCscience funding. @UniOfHull will be working with @PlymUni & wider UK & Himalayan partners.
