The passing of Prop 36 would redirect funds back into punitive measures and the carceral system. It will also strip vital funds from community-based solutions, such as diversion, mental health, drug treatment, and housing—solutions that have a track record of creating safety.

UPI hosted a CVI Certification Training for peacemakers in Fresno! Four community-based orgs participated and 12 peacemakers were certified. Ongoing professional training is essential to building out a community-based safety infrastructure across the country!
