ACM serves communities in the District of Columbia that have long been neglected, including lack of access to quality education, health care, food and employment. We help our community access needed resources, supports, and services to help transform their lives. #Community

ACM staff receive mediation and de-escalation training in order defuse volatile tensions within communities. They also help residents access needed resources, supports, and services that help to reduce the overall inequities within communities that too often lead to conflict.

ACM’s key social change objectives are to: Empower those closest and most impacted by violence as the change agents for their respective communities; and Integrate the most disenfranchised into the larger society for sustainable growth. Our community trusts us!
