Russia attacked UN trucks carrying humanitarian aid in the Kherson region. One of the four vehicles was completely burned down, and another was seriously damaged due to drone attacks and artillery shelling. Russia continues causing grief to Ukrainian civilians.

On Defender’s Day, the Embassy participated in a ceremony led by President Zelenskyy to honour all Ukrainians resisting Russia’s illegal invasion. We think of the fallen and their families. Ireland will continue to support Ukraine as it fights for freedom and independence.
