After 48 years of nursing we wished Joan a Happy Retirement the Abbey View team will miss her so much!
The end of an era for Abbey View & the NHS as the lovely Joan Steel retires after 48yrs. She started work at FGH on the first day it opened & has cared for our patients with the utmost care & kindness @UHMBT @beccacarter1988 @SpeightGill 🥰🥰🥰

Positive feedback from 2 student nurses on day one of their placement. They appreciated the pro-active approach from the ward contacting them first with a welcome, shift pattern options and ward facilities. They have never had this contact prior to a placement before. @pefs_uhmb
