Currently, MALDI-TOF/ 16 s-RNA sequencing helps identify this organism. As this is skin flora, interpretation of pathogenicity/ role in disease process is carefully interpreted. Our patient is receiving Dalbavancin for vertebral osteo treatment targeting this organism.

C. tuberculostearicum was isolated from 8 biopsy specimens, 3 aspirates, 3 deep-wound swabs, 2 superficial-wound swabs, and 2 urine samples in this study. All of the strains were sensitive to vancomycin, linezolid, and daptomycin.
