BYU and Kilani Sitake have had an impressive run the last 2 years, and now they’ve locked Sitake in for the long-term. If BYU wants to be taken more seriously across CFB they need to expand their stadium. 62K is way too small. Get to 80K at least.

Let’s be clear that college football needs to be viewed through a basketball lens now. “Making the tournament” doesn’t really mean anything, especially if you get bounced in the first round. Making the Final Four is what matters.

By far the most important part of bowl games is that you get 15 free practices. That’s basically a whole extra spring ball that Notre Dame won’t get to prepare for the 2026 season, even if it’s just letting backups get reps. It’s a ridiculous decision.
@ShehanJeyarajah You can also give kids on the team a meaningful chance to see the field they wouldn't otherwise. Also why not play just for the pure love of playing the game.

Disappointed we missed the CFP, but I’m excited by the opportunity Texas has in the Citrus Bowl. Get 15 extra practices, get younger guys some playing time, win 10 games for the third year in a row, and go into 2026 strong. Bowls present a great opportunity to end on a high note.

Look, all I’ll say is this: When Alabama and Georgia have missed the playoff, their guys locked in and showed out in their bowl games, draft be damned. When Florida State got screwed, their players opted out. Which program do you want to be?

If the committee wants Notre Dame to be ahead of Texas, then James Madison should be ahead of both of them. It’s that simple. The only thing Notre Dame has over Texas is a prettier record. Half of Texas schedule was CFP teams. ND played 2 CFP teams and lost both. Trash.

Alabama’s win in September against Georgia is completely negated if they lose to the Dawgs today. That September game practically happened during the Obama administration. It’s completely irrelevant to deciding the CFP field in December. Alabama is out if they lose today.

If Texas Tech wants to continue to be taken seriously as a major college football program, they need to expand their stadium to be bigger than 65K. People would take Tech much more seriously if they had a 90K stadium.

Hey @_delconte if the old Erwin Center site is just going to be a grass field still in Fall 2025, why not we sell some parking passes for it for the 2025 season? Could be a great tailgating scene close to the stadium 🤘🏼

Just a reminder that North Texas was in Conference USA just 3 years ago, and now they’re on the doorstep of the College Football Playoff. Texas is the best football state in America and it isn’t particularly close.
