#WorldRefugeeDay.Since April 2023, millions have fled #Sudan, escaping violence, hunger, and disease. Most arrive in neighboring countries with nothing, struggling to find food, shelter, and safety far from home.

#Sudan faces multiple crises. Children are at risk of abuse, early marriage, child labour, & sexual violence. Child protection is only 3% funded, limiting the response to children’s needs. Several disease outbreaks, including cholera and measles, have been reported nationwide.

In #Sudan, survivors of sexual violence have endured untold suffering, with limited access to care, protection or justice. We cannot afford to normalize or ignore sexual violence. Action is needed through prevention, care, and protection for survivors.
