Nearly 60 Labour MPs backed by UNISON voted for the government’s recent welfare cuts. If elected as General Secretary, I will oppose blank cheques to the Labour Party. It’s time to end our union’s subservience to Labour.

Please !!! My in laws were migrants - they were grafters with my mother in law holding down 3 jobs they had 5 children - the extra money for child benefit came in useful but it didn’t make them well off !
